EMDR & EMDR Intensives
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is an evidence-based therapy that uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain process and resolve distressing memories, experiences, and beliefs that have become stuck. When something overwhelming happens, the brain sometimes can't fully process it, leaving the memory frozen with its original emotional charge, physical sensations, and negative beliefs still intact. Those unprocessed memories continue to affect how we feel and respond in the present, often without us realizing it.
EMDR works by activating the brain's natural processing system, allowing it to complete what got interrupted. The result is a significant reduction or complete elimination of the distress associated with those memories, along with a shift in the negative beliefs that formed around them. It is equally effective for anxiety, depression, phobias, grief, and persistent core beliefs like "I'm not good enough" or "I don't matter," not just trauma and PTSD.
For those who want to go deeper and faster, EMDR Intensives are available in a hybrid format with concentrated processing days and telehealth preparation and integration sessions. Investment starts at $1,200.
